Predicciones a los Critics Choice Awards 2024: ‘Oppenheimer’, ‘The Bear’ y ‘Succession’ seguirán arrasando

Este domingo se celebrará la edición número 29 de los Critics Choice Awards y todo parece indicar que volveremos ver triunfar a las producciones que se llevaron el Globo de Oro la semana pasada. ¿Habrá sorpresas? Estas son los nominados y nuestras predicciones.

¿Oppenheimer tiene competencia?

En la rama de cine, la cinta de Christopher Nolan, ‘Oppenheimer’, se mantiene firme como la gran favorita de la temporada, tanto para ganar Mejor Película como otras categorías de actuación y técnicas. Las únicas películas que podrían frenar a la impecable producción de Nolan son: la controversial ‘Barbie’ y la reciente ganadora del Golden Globe ‘Poor Things’. 

Por un lado, tenemos a la película más taquillera del 2023, y aunque esta no haya sido del agrado de muchos, la cinta de Greta Gerwig podría dar la sorpresa este domingo. Por otro lado, ‘Poor Things’, la nueva cinta de Yorgos Lanthimos protagonizada por Emma Stone, que ha venido recolectando muy buenas críticas desde su estreno en el Festival de Cine de Venecia, se empieza a perfilar como una gran contrincante a la estatuilla principal. 

Personalmente, nos gustaría que ‘The Holdovers’ y ‘Past Lives’ también puedan ser consideradas las ‘dark horses’ de esta temporada de premios, ya que ambas han sido aclamadas por los críticos a nivel mundial y merecen reconocimiento. 

No habrán sorpresas en las categorías de TV

Por otro lado, en las categorías de televisión de los Critics Choice Awards; ‘Succession’, ‘The Bear’ y ‘BEEF’ seguirán arrasando en sus respectivos géneros, de aquí hasta los SAG Awards el próximo mes de febrero. Aunque, un último reconocimiento para ‘Barry’ y ‘Ted Lasso’ en las categorías de comedia vendría perfecto.
