Las nominaciones a los premios Emmys 2022 fueron anunciadas esta mañana, y aquí te contamos quienes fueron las que recibieron más nominaciones, y quienes fueron las grandes ignoradas por la academia.
‘Succession’ lidera la lista con 25 nominaciones en total, incluyendo la más importante: Mejor Serie de Drama. Siguiéndole muy de cerca se encuentran ‘Ted Lasso’ y ‘The White Lotus’ con 20 nominaciones cada uno (liderando sus respectivos géneros).
La gran sorpresa fue ‘Euphoria’, la serie de HBO logró recibir 16 nominaciones por su segunda temporada triplicando las nominaciones que obtuvieron en el año 2020. Otras de las grandes favoritas como ‘Hacks’ y ‘Only Murders in the Building’ recibieron 17 nominaciones en la rama de comedia.
La populares ‘Stranger Things’ y ‘Squid Game’ recibieron 13 y 14 nominaciones respectivamente, siendo en su mayoría de categorías técnicas.
Por otro lado, debemos hablar de las grandes ignoradas de este año. Comenzado por ‘Atlanta’, la popular serie protagonizada por Donald Glover solo logró llevarse 2 nominaciones, cuando todo parecía apuntar a ser una de las grandes favoritas (como en el 2018). Por el lado actoral, es imposible no comentar sobre Selena Gomez. Si bien es cierto la popular cantante ya es una ganadora de este premio por su trabajo en ‘Los Hechizeros de Waverly Place’ (como productora), muchos esperaban verla en la categoría de Mejor Actriz de Comedia. Ni modo, será para el próximo año.
Series como ‘Yellowstone’, ‘This is us’ y ‘Outlander’ también fueron completamente ignoradas este año, a pesar de haber sido reconocidas en premiaciones anteriores.
Ahora lo que más nos gustó de estas nominaciones. Comenzando por las jóvenes promesas Julia Garner (‘Ozark’,’ Inventing Anna’) y Sydney Sweeney (‘Euphoria’, ‘The White Lotus’) quienes recibieron 2 nominaciones cada una. También, es importante resaltar las nominaciones que obtuvo todo el cast de ‘Succession’, siendo la serie más nominada en la rama de actuación (15 en total).
Y por ultimo, resaltar las primeras nominaciones de actores como Jennifer Coolidge (‘The White Lotus’), Alexandra Daddario (‘The White Lotus’), Sebastian Stan (‘Pam and Tommy’), Adam Scott (‘Severance’) y Rhea Seehorn (‘Better Call Saul’).
